Higurashi Meguri - Righting the Wrongs of Sotsu
I read the first volume of Higurashi no Naku koro ni Meguri, by Tomato Akase, and compare it to Higurashi Sotsu, the 2021 anime that underwhelmed at best, and ruined at worst.
There are some big changes, at least in the latter half of the volume, and I am very much looking forward to the impact it will make on the story. Let Meguri tell the good story that Sotsu didn't!
I, and many others, can only read Meguri thanks to the scanlation group, Furude Rika Bernscanstel, who have been translating it into English. They deserve a ton of love. But if you enjoy Higurashi, please consider purchasing the manga if it ever gets published in your country, to show your support for the hard work everyone put into it.
