The Juyongguan Great Wall is a well-known ancient city along the Great Wall in North Beijing, and is a national cultural relics protection unit. Located in a canyon 20 kilometers north of Changping County. It is 60 kilometers away from Beijing and 20 kilometers away from the Badaling Great Wall. The terrain is difficult and it is an important pass of the Great Wall. The Juyongguan Great Wall was built in a 15-kilometer-long valley, with overlapping mountains on both sides, lush trees, blooming mountain flowers, and magnificent scenery. As far back as the Jin Dynasty 800 years ago, it was listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Yanjing, called "Juyong Pinnacle". Juyongguan is the gateway to Beijing from the north. Guancheng is a closed circle with a length of 4142 meters. In the group-shaped Great Wall, there are both Pan Palace and Diecui Academy for learning, as well as a shopping street for merchants. There is not only a Chenghuang Temple dedicated to worship, but also a special palace for driving. There are government offices, temples, Confucianism and other related buildings inside and outside the existing Juyongguan city.
