The overland Silk Road originated in the Western Han dynasty (202-8 years ago). Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty sent Zhang Qian to the western regions. It started in the capital Chang'an (now Xi'an), passed the provinces of Gansu and Xinjiang to Central Asia and West Asia, and connects the Mediterranean countries. The land channel is 6,440 kilometers long. This road is considered the intersection of the ancient eastern and western civilizations connecting Asia and Europe, and silk is the most representative product. For thousands of years, nomads or tribes, merchants, believers, diplomats, soldiers, and academic researchers have set out on the Silk Road. The Chinese section of the Silk Road starts from Xi'an in the east and goes towards the Pamirs in the west out of the country.
