DJ Khaled Becomes Apple's First Artist-in-Residence

DJ Khaled is taking over as Apple’s first Artist-in-Residence.
Khaled announced his new gig on Instagram, where he called on record labels and artists to get in touch for his first takeover playlist called Office DJ, which is his own version of Apple’s existing playlist.
“This means imma taking over the biggest playlists on the platform every month! Also the goal is to break new artists in the process. All record labels and artists, hit me up,” he writes on Instagram.
Khaled says he plans to debut a “Gymflow playlist vibe” next month.
Right now, the Office DJ playlist has some from Jay-Z, Drake, Beyonce, Lauren Hill, and more. Oh, and it also includes six of Khaled’s own songs, so don’t worry.
Apple says that Khaled will be responsible for crafting one playlist during every month of his residency.
Khaled’s playlists are available for free to all Apple Music subscribers!
