In This video I try to demo fresh install of Windows 10 by using Virtualbox VM for demo. USB/CDROM/DVD boot process is different for different PC’s. Find your PC’s Vendor manual for booting settings.
Watch full video don’t skip other wise Important points will miss.
VM CREATING ###
I created VM with following Settings
vCPU = 2
RAM = 4 GB
VHD = 50 GB
LAN = NAT (optional)
Open Virtualbox Click new button, One VM create Wizard will open set the name of the VM my case I set “WIN-10” set type of the VM as “Microsoft Windows” and version as “Windows 10 64 bit” and click next button.
I set 4 GB of RAM and click next button. I select “Create New vhd” with “Dynamically allocated” and 50 GB of VHD.
Right click the newly create VM and select settings option. Select storage from left side of the settings windows and load Windows 10 ISO file to CDROM/DVD and click OK and start the VM by selecting the NEW VM and click start button from top of the Virtualbox window.
INSTALLATION PROCESS ###
After clicking start button VM will start and boot with CDROM/DVD and “Windows setup” windows will popup.
Select the “Language to Install”, “Time and currency format” and “keyboard and input method” as per yours, In my case I keep all default and click next button.
Click “install” look like link and setup will start.
It will ask for KEY to enter or skip. We will do after install also, In my case I skip.
Select the OS Edition which is purchased by you, In my case I selected “Windows 10 pro” and click next button.
Read the Terms and check the “I accept license terms” check box and click next button.
I’m going to fresh installation so, I selecting “Custom: install windows only (advanced)” option.
!!! IMPORTANT !!!
For this DEMO I use 50 GB of VHD (Virtual Hard Disk). But, normally now a days Desktop / Laptops comes with minimum 1 TB.
So, If you use for Office Documentation set 250 GB of OS partition mean “C:” Disk.
If you use for Design / Multimedia set 500 GB + of OS partition.
In my case I’m using full 50 GB by selecting the raw partition of 50 GB and click new bottom of the windows look like link and I keep default 50 GB and click apply button and warning window will pop-up click OK button.
It will create 2 partitions one is for system reserved and another one is OS. In other cases we can create multiple partitions for store data.
!!! IMPORTANT !!!
Don’t delete “system reserved” partition.
And select the partition where the OS want to install, In my case I selected 2nd partition and click next button. After that installation process will start. When the time of installation process it will complete the following and restart the system.

After reboot it will ask for select the Region, select you region in my case I keep default and click yes button.
Next step select the keyboard layout as yours and click yes button. Next step if you want to add another keyboard layout add or other wise click skip button.
Next step ask for network setup my case I can do later and click “I don’t have internet” left bottom of the window.
Next step if you have Microsoft related any login account like live login with that credentials by clicking “connect now” for more features. But my case I “continue with limited setup” by click the button bottom left of the windows.
Next step set the user and click next button. Next step set the password for the user and press entire button on you keyboard and re-entire the same password and click next button.
Next step set the 3 security question it will help to recover forgot password and click next button.
Next step select the privacy settings as per you requirement and click accept button. Next step It will setup and open you user desktop.
!!! IMPORTANT !!!
First activate the Licence by Go To Control Panel – system right side bottom of the windows you can find the “Windows activation”.
Don’t Disable the Windows Firewall, Windows Update and install any antivirus before do or work anything and keep up-to date of all software's.
