In this video we are going to know How To install XAMPP on Windows 10 and not only installation how to deploy / upload developer code files into server and also update files mean v1, v2.
Watch full video don’t skip other wise Important tips will miss.
!!! IMPORTANT !!!
XAMPP on Windows 10 it is not recommended for production environment it is for Developers to develop the Website or Web applications on there laptop or desktop.
For Production environment you must use any server editions OS like Windows 2012,2016 or 2019. And also Host in Server Hardware systems for good performance.
Other wise requests from clients not able to handle by Desktop OS editions.
If you don’t have budget, try any free Linux distro servers like CentOS
Lets come to Topic
I already created one Windows 10 VM for demo. And also Downloaded HTML free web templates links on end of the description to show how to deploy / upload the developer files into server.
First We want to download XAMPP from apachefriends.org URL
Select the version and 64 or 32 bits, In my case I selected 7.4 64bit.
Double click the downloaded XAMPP installer .exe file and Installer Window will open click next.
Select the service which want to install, In my case apache, mysql and phpmysql selected and click next button.
!!! IMPORTANT !!!
Install XAMPP other then OS partition mean “C:” partition because most of the Virus and malware's attack OS files and partition, And also if any damage happens, It is easy to recover the data.
In my case I set “d:\xampp\” path to install. And click the next button and select the language and click the next button and installation process will start.
After completing the installation click the finish button and we can get one orange XAMPP icon appearance on you right side of windows taskbar or hide.
Find the icon and double click it and XAMPP control panel will open, start the Apache server by click start button.
When you start the Apache service, Windows firewall will alert to allow / add the Apache service to the Windows firewall click “allow access” button to allow / add to Windows firewall.
!!! IMPORTANT !!!
Don’t tune off Firewall or other any security related software / apps completely, Whitelist the service / ports like 80, 443 on it . Other wise If you deploy the developed program in Production environment you can face issue.
After that Apache service will start.
Open localhost URL in you VM Web browser to check XAMPP web service working fine. And also open URL with VM IP in my case http://192.168.2.25/ in Host system web browser.
Now our XAMPP web server ready.
It Is TIME TO DEPLOY / UPLOAD developer HTML code files to server.

!!! IMPORTANT!!!
It is always recommended that change and delete Default configuration and files of XAMPP, Because it is very good chance for hackers to compromise you server
Download, unzip and past on XAMPP documentroot folder mean where to host the HTML files (In my case “D:\xampp\htdocs\”).
And open in Host system web browser and result as shown in video. Same way host another downloaded free web template assume it as version 2 of the web application and check the result.
