In some cases, enabling a skill to remember details from one session for later use in a separate session is useful to make Alexa seem more engaged and to avoid repeatedly asking the user for information that is unlikely to change across sessions.

In this video, I show how to use Persistent Attributes, an Alexa skill feature that makes it possible to remember information across sessions by storing it in and fetching it from DynamoDB.
