RACCOON Caught BY MISTAKE Released From HAVAHART Trap
As modern homesteaders we are trying to grow a year's worth of food in 2020. So, when we realized we had a groundhog on our young farm we put out a cage to capture it. What we found instead was a raccoon exhausted after a night of failing to escape. Having never captured or, let alone, released a live animal before Mike persistently experiences the learning process of freeing an animal from a Havahart cage. A first generation farmer at first sympathizes with the creatures he encounters on the land. The raccoon might not be feeling so liberated the next time he comes snooping around our chicken coop.
No animals were harmed in this video, though, inconvenienced to say the least.
We are transitioning from oil to soil and trying to find a way to build hope for an uncertain future.
