PERMACULTURE Design Plan on Google Earth STUDIO
As our final project for the Verge Permaculture PDC (Permaculture Design Certification) course we will summarize our goals to build our farm resiliently, as well as outline the systems already in place. For the sake of brevity only some systems will be highlighted in detail.
The scope of building a truly resilient homestead can be daunting but we are determined to make our property a sacred place that harbors healthfulness and beauty and exudes abundance and hope. This takes most of the waking hours of every day but it is mostly enjoyable work.
The DESIGN will follow the format,
1) MAIN FRAME DESIGN - Basic Layout
Water flow on land
Access for vehicles and people
Structures built and planned for near future
2) ZONE ANALYSIS - Placement & Position
How systems are placed relative to the home.
How areas are defined based on use.
3) SECTOR ANALYSIS - Energy Flow Through the Property
