This video tutorial explains how to make a Pokeball in Pixelmon, along with a list of all the different Pokeballs and their corresponding recipes.
Ok, straight to the important stuff. You're going to need three apricorns. The order and color of those apricorns are going to determine what kind of Pokeball you create. Personally, I'd recommend going straight for the black and yellow ones. Those will create ultraballs, which are statistically the best ones in the game.
So, Step 1 is to collect Apricorns.
Step 2 is to roast them in a furnace.
Step 3 is to create the Pokeball lid. Again, the color and order will determine the type of ball. Here's a quick chart taken from the wiki that shows the different recipes.
Step 4 is to create the bases. These are made of iron or aluminum. It's a simple row of three.
Step 5, take your bases and lids and place them on your anvil - or mechanical anvil, which is awesome. Anvils are made of iron by placing a row of three iron bars, then a row of two, followed by a row of three again. You'll also need a hammer. Recipe is on screen now. Right click to place the lid or the base on the anvil, select your hammer, and left click until the item is returned to your inventory. Rinse and repeat. While you're doing that, stick some cobblestone in your furnance and turn it back into normal stone which you can turn into buttons.
Now that you have buttons, lids, and bases, it's time to turn them into Pokemon capturing devices. Place the lid in the top row, a button below it, and the base below that. And you're done! Now, you can capture innocent animals and force them to battle their loved ones for your profit and pleasure.
