Amira Casar - Sharpe's Siege (1996)
In this amusing scene from Sharpe's Siege (1996), Sharpe (Sean Bean) and his troops have just captured a French castle and their army are happy to surrender. However, he comes up with more resistance from the castle owner's spoilt daughter Catherine (Amira Cesar), who is none too happy about the English being in her castle or how they managed to get in. "You English fools," she snaps, attacking Sharpe. "You can't fight fairly. You have to trick your way into the castle." However, Sharpe is more bemused than anything and I love his response to her objections. After telling her their tactics are perfectly acceptable he then tells her to inform her troops that they are free to go before giving her a few firm pats on the bum to jog her on her way - much to her astonishment at being treated this way. Mind you, she is more than a match for Sharpe's pompous superior Colonel Bamfylde (Christopher Villers) when he marches in and amusingly tries to chat her up. Oh dear...
