Veronica Roberts - The Cuckoo Waltz (1976)
Gavin (Lewis Collins) decides to treat Chris (David Roper) to a massage for them with Sammy and Frank. However, Chris is in for a surprise when "Sam and Frank turn out to be two girls (Veronica Roberts and Helen Rappaport), with Gavin introducing Sam with a pat to her rear. This leaves Gavin in a big panic - just what is Fliss going to think when she hears about this?
While Helen Rappaport had little luck in roles (her biggest role was in something called Confessional in 1989 before she retired in 1992), Veronica Roberts' is probably best remembered now for playing Dorothy Bennett in Tenko from 1981 to 1984. Lewis Collins went on to appear in The Professionals (1977-83) (and it's so odd seeing him with so much hair in this), while David Roper gained notice by soap fans when he appeared in EastEnders in 1994 as Michelle Fowler's lecturer and later lover. Amusingly - and somewhat unbelievably - it is Roper who gains the notice from the massage girls. As if!
