Jacqueline Reddin - The Professionals (1980)
Bodie and Doyle have no luck on holiday when they are held hostage by three gunmen when out in the country with their girlfriends Louisa Rix and Jacqueline Reddin. Their leader (Bryan Pringle) is injured with gunshot wounds, so he tells Reddin to go and get the First Aid box upstairs. Unfortunately he also sends one of his randy goons (Ray Burdis) to go with her and Bodie can only stand and watch as he gives her bum a few pats as he gees her up the stairs. However, once he tries his tricks with her upstairs all hell breaks loose!
I had never seen The Professionals until last year but what I love in the series is the humour between the two leads, such as the attitude from Bodie to Doyle after he's earned a kicking for his gallantry. A familiar face in this video will be the other goon in this, Brian Croucher, who was later Tony Hills in EastEnders. As for Jacqueline Reddin, she earned notice the previous year in Telford's Change (1979) and a later significant role was in Tickle on the Tum from 1986-88. But the intriguing thing in this scene is when Burdis tries it on with her, calling her "Miss Nightingale", as she would later appear in a TV movie called Florence Nightingale in 1985 - though not playing the title character, I may add.
