Removing Haze with Dehaze Slider in Lightroom CC - Adobe has added a new Dehaze slider that removes atmospheric haze, flare and fog. This works quite well and is much better than attempting to remove it with the Contrast and Clarity sliders.
You'll find the Dehaze slider at the bottom of the Effects panel in the Develop module. Moving the slider to the right will remove haze while moving it to the left will add atmospheric haze. Adding haze can be a nice look for portraits or if you want to add some dreamy fog to your landscape photo.
When you move the slider to the right your photo will become darker, so you may need to adjust the exposure later. Also, the Dehaze feature works best when you first set the white balance. It's because Dehaze takes the white balance into it's calculations and if you set the white balance later, the dehazing might not be the same.
I want to point out that the Dehaze slider is only available to Lightroom Creative Cloud subscribers. Unfortunately if you have the standalone, Lightroom 6 perpetual license you will have to wait until Lightroom 7 is released to get this feature.
