Asheboro Homecoming Game & Parade 2024!
This is a short flog on the Asheboro Homecoming parade and football game. This was my first time ever attending the parade. The NAMS football and softball teams attended as a community service project. Thanks to Mr. Britt and his father for providing the float. It was cool and had to be the quickest parade I’ve ever been to. Just how I like it. The game was even better beginning with a three man parachute landing over Lee James Stadium. I was standing in the perfect spot to video as each parachute entered at the concessions end of the field and landed on the fifty. It almost seemed unreal to watch these guys appearing out of the night sky, floating tens of feet right over my head, each with a different flag as the song “God Bless The USA” played in the background. I did not get any of the footage! Too busy trying to locate the jumpers and forgot to press record. Wow! Well at least the football team won and the kids had fun at the parade. Thanks for watching!
