What’s up guys, its Ange from Platinum Wheels, Today I’m giving you a quick rundown on slip on spacers, please please note that all spacers have to be LVVTA certified for legal road use in New Zealand and they all must be fixed to the hub.
Now slip on spacers come in 3,5, or if you are lucky 8mm spacers. It’s very important that you need to get 7.5 turns of your wheel nut to your stud
So if you are extra fat fitment or are having trouble clearing your brakes these bolt on spacers are what you are after. These come in 20, 25 Or 30mm they are basically an extension of your hub and it pushes your wheels out further.
So if this is your factory hub and you are using these bolt on spacers often your studs from your hub protrude future than the face of the spacers, so its very important to check your wheels and make sure that you have these little pockets for these studs to go into, like so!
So that’s your quick rundown on spacers if you have any more questions, just hit us up!
