This video is another in the series relating to Probability for the Year 11 (VCE) Mathematical Methods (Units 1 and 2) course here in Australia. However, as Mathematics is a constant all over the world, this will be relevant to everyone! This video looks at the idea of Independent Events and builds on the work from the previous videos. I look at what independence is and how we might, given a range of questions, be able to test or ascertain if two events are independent. There are a number of worked examples and all are explained in an easy to understand way.
