This video is the start of a new section of the Mathematical Methods (Year 11 VCE Units 1 and 2) course and looks at how we can use the tools we have acquired so far to help us sketch any functions we might be presented with. I look at how to find equations of tangents and normals using both "by hand" and using the CAS. There are a number of worked examples and all are explained in an easy to understand way.
