This video is the first in a new series which looks at rates of change and, soon, calculus (differentiation). It's a part of the Units 1 and 2 VCE Mathematical Methods course in Australia, but relevant across the world. This video looks at how we can recognise relationships between various variables. I then look at rates of change before looking at what gradient is. This is a really important video who shows how we can identify positive, negative and zero gradients and how we know there is no gradient at endpoints of graphs. There are a number of worked examples and all are explained in an easy to understand way.
