this video showcases what I call the "Windows 8 loophole", a method for actually upgrading from x86 Windows to x64 Windows without any data/settings/program loss. It involves Windows 7 x86 as the starting point, followed by a successful upgrade to Windows 8 build 7963 x64, and from there to Windows 8 RTM x64.
This is a purely experimental method, doing this on your main PC is not recommended. Preferably use a test machine or a VM, I am not responsible for any damage done.
