Using this Thirst bar system, you can add a little bit more thrill to your survival world. Now you don't need to worry about hunger only, because you will also worry about your hydration, isn't it interesting?

This command creation was created in Minecraft Bedrock 1.20.81

Commands:
/scoreboard objectives add thirstbar dummy thirstbar

Use this to yourself and every new player on your world:
/scoreboard players set @p thirstbar 500

Command Blocks:

5th - execute as @a[hasitem={item=glass_bottle,data=1}] at @s run playsound random.levelup @a[r=30]
6th - execute as @a[hasitem={item=glass_bottle,data=1}] at @s run particle minecraft:totem_particle ~~1~
7th - replaceitem entity @a[hasitem={item=glass_bottle,data=1,location=slot.hotbar,slot=8}] slot.hotbar 8 glass_bottle 1 2
8th - scoreboard players remove @a[scores={thirstbar=1..}] thirstbar 1
