01: Introduction and Disclaimer
Start Here! I'm a self-taught senior web developer in the US. I'm making a collection of videos I've always wanted to do to share how I learned to code. If you make it through these videos, near the end you'll have a web server on the internet serving webpages and any web applications you make!
Through my almost 20 years doing this programming stuff, I’ve seen countless videos and tutorials that focus on one particular thing, like back end programming, or using a part of a JS framework. I haven’t seen many that teach you everything, end-to-end, starting with nothing and ending up with a web server and some knowledge on how to use it and host your own websites on your own server space!
This video is an introduction to myself and a little of my background. I will also talk about my plan for these videos and how I plan to do them. I want to keep this like a classroom setting, but more personal and casual. The disclaimer part is pretty simple; there’s no way I can teach anyone EVERYTHING there is to know about being a full stack web developer.
