17th International Tchaikovsky Competition (Second Round)
In the piano category of the 17th International Tchaikovsky Competition, 15 pianists from 7 different countries passed the 1st round, and they are competing the 2nd round on June 23, 24. Each pianist needs to play a 60 min program which may not include pieces performed during the 1st round. In the 2nd round, the program includes one or more works by Tchaikovsky, one or more pieces by other Russian composers, and the rest of the program will be performer’s own choice.
