Meta Quest 3S vs Quest 3 passthrough quality and low light tracking
Testing the passthrough quality and ability to work in low light on the Quest 3S vs Quest 3.
The Meta Quest 3S ships with two IR illuminators on the front but does not include the depth sensor from the Meta Quest 3. Those IR illuminators allow it to "see" in the dark, but only in small rooms. It can do hand tracking in any room size in the dark but won't allow scene tracking if it can't see walls or other trackable objects in the room.
