Home Renovation Vlog - Update Part 1 - Installing Appliances, Painting & A New Dining Room Table!

♡Hey Everyone! I am so sorry for the break in uploads! These last couple months have been challenging due to some personal stuff, but I am hoping to get back to a regular upload schedule. Over the next couple videos, I will be updating you on where we are currently with the house and our plans for the future.
In this short video, we FINALLY got our oven and dishwasher installed! I am so relieved to have an oven again, I missed cooking dinner for Lewis so much! The saving grace was my air fryer, you can do so much in that little thing! Next to get installed is the microwave, and possibly a new fridge at some point! We also painted our kitchen area which really made a difference. We used Natural Linen by Sherwin Williams and I think it's the perfect neutral color.
Finally, we bought our very first piece of furniture for the new house. It was difficult to know what to start with, but we thought a dining table as a first purchase was really representative of who we are and the family we want to be. Some of our favorite memories were made around a dining table, drinking and eating with friends. It was super easy to put together and I can't want to get some chairs to put around it!

This channel was created simply for fun. As a twenty-something girl, fear of failure holds many people like me back from trying new things. I find myself day dreaming about things I'd like to do, but the thought of failing always makes my heart sink. Society has lead us to believe that failing at something is the end of the world, and I'd like to believe that it's actually just the beginning of a world where failure is nothing more than a lesson learned. Please note that this is not an instructional channel, I have no clue what I'm doing and honestly, I think there is beauty in that.
