Palestine music incubator (NEST) is a 7-month program that aims to work closely with music performers towards building, growing and sustaining a professional career in music. By providing knowledge and mentorship, in addition to production and live performances opportunities, NEST equips its participants with the needed tools and understanding to better navigate the intricate, dynamic and fast evolving global music industry.
About Norah
An architect by day, Norah Shaqur is a singing voice every day, deeply inspired by the human voice and drawn to explore and find inspiration in songs from around the world.
Norah discovered her love of singing at an early age and found an outlet for that passion in the church choir. Though she never pursued music as a professional career, she continuously sought to learn about her own voice through self-learning and classical training until it became an integral part of who she is.
Norah has performed at local and international venues with various bands, including Sabreen and Rum.
Her eclectic style can be described as being an amalgamation of the diverse musical influences she exposed herself to growing up.
