Now that he has found his destiny as a flowerpot in a small family, it is as if he has achieved everything he had hoped for. But he doesn't seem to be given the attention he deserves, as it would be worthy of a Ukrainian quality workmanship …

PRODUCTION NOTES
The genre (Heimatfilm [sentimental film with regional background]) and the film title (Topfschlagen [Hit the Pot]) were allocated to us by lot on Friday evening. From then exactly 48 hours remained (2880 minutes), to develop the concept, writing the script, organizing the location, to engage the actors and to shoot and edit the film. The deadline was on Sunday evening.
The #comedy #ShortFilm became the winner among 43 submitted entries. At first, the audience vote for their favorite from among the participating short films. 11 teams entered the final in this way. Among the finalists, a jury of experts then selected the winner by awarding points.
During the screening, the audience was allowed to vote for the “Best Actor” and the “Best Film Score”. Our pot was by far the winner of the first place. The festival management has denied this! Reason: Real actors would still be able to live and accept their prizes after their film death. Our pot, on the other hand, is no longer able to do this …
The film was also screened on March 10, 2012 at the 1st “Essener Video Rodeo” in the “Weststadt Horizont” Essen, Germany.
