Setting Coordinates in Dot3D | Reference Your Origin Point or Known XYZ
This brief tutorial highlights the coordinate system editing capabilities available in Dot3D Pro 5.0 & up for iOS, Windows & Android.
Quickly and easily establish a coordinate system for your scan data from right within Dot3D via the Coordinates tab. This capability is helpful for referencing known coordinates without targets, establishing an origin point for measurement purposes, and/or simply making sure your data comes in upright on the ground plane in downstream software applications.
