@Sharkie626 and I have LONG talked about adding a warm rinse option to the Speed Queen washer. Of course, not only have I seen this done before, but I have also done this to my own Whirlpool machines. I mean, you'd think I never knew what I was doing. Despite that, there was much trepidation, worry, and too many "what ifs?" in the air for the longest time. But this time, I bought all my tools, wire, connectors, every everything I would possibly need, and then some, just in case. And I modified the Speed Queen for warm rinse override.
The modification I did used up practically all my connectors, but made the warm rinse override completely, 100% reversible back to factory--the only evidence would be the hole drilled in the back panel. Hey, the switch has to be mounted somewhere!
Being that the switch is mounted on the back panel, it's still easily reachable, yet completely out of sight, if it weren't for the mirrors in that room. But still, you have to look at a pretty sharp angle to see it, and know that you're looking for it.
So another job well done, warm rinse is still an option!
