The Redmi Note 7 has a 6.3-inch 19.5: 9 1080p screen, a Snapdragon 660 processor, a 13-megapixel selfie camera, a 4,000 mAh battery, USB-C charging and a headphone jack. Redmi will operate as an independent brand focused on e-commerce and cost efficiency, which will leave Xiaomi concentrating on mid-range and high-end phones and physical retail. Previous Redmi phones have been very popular in India in particular, but so far Xiaomi has not made a special effort to highlight the brand itself; Now, the Note 7 has a new logo on the back that says Redmi by Xiaomi.
The Redmi Note 7 starts at only 999 yuan around $ 150 / Rs. 10,000 for a model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, reaching 1,399 yuan ~ $ 200 / Rs. 14,500 for 6GB / 64GB. They compared the Note 7 with the other two 48-megapixel phones announced so far, the Honor View 20 of 2,999 yuan and the Huawei Nova 4 of 3,399 yuan. The Redmi Note 7 will be available first in China, but then it should be directed to India and other usual Xiaomi regions.
