Elon Invitational: Men's Cross Country Places First, Women Take Second
History was made Saturday morning at Elon's intramural fields, where the university hosted its first-ever cross country meet. The men's team placed first, ahead of conference rival Furman, while the women took second place overall, losing to Furman by one point. The fastest of the Phoenix runners were junior Emily Fournier, who finished third place, and junior Justin Gianni, who placed second individually.
