If the key fob to your Chrysler Town and Country minivan stopped working, you should try two things before you spend around $350 getting a new one from the dealership.

There are 2 common problems to the key fob not working anymore. One is because the battery is dying and the other is because the buttons in your key fob are not making good contact with the circuit board.
If your battery is still good, then you may need to clean the circuit board to fix your key fob.
In order to take apart the key fob, you need to first take the metal key out. Then take a mini screw driver and stick it into a small hole at the top of key fob and push the screw driver side to side to pry apart the the key fob. Now take out the circuit board. Take a Q-tip dipped in some rubbing alcohol that you can get from the dollar store, and just clean the round contacts. Then wipe off any excess water and alcohol with a dry Q-tip.
put the circuit board back. Make sure that the 2 halves of the key fob are well aligned and then snap them back together.
If you need to get a new key fob, I would recommend that you go to an independent car locksmith who can program the key fob for you. That should save you at least $100.
