Blue Ridge Mountain Boy was written by Estela Knott for her Cousin Angela Venegas Manual in remembrance of her husband Jimmy Manual. Estela grew up with Jimmy and his family and remembers fondly sitting on the front porch, hearing mountain music and celebrating with family and friends. Jimmy was a true country boy, who hunted, fished on the Shenandoah river and was a funny kind man. He will always be remembered by those who loved him.
