Old Footage of Aikido Demonstration in Fukuoka
This footage was found at Kawakami Sensei's (student of O'Sensei) house located in Nagasaki, Japan in reel form. A student of our dojo restored the footage. It has no sound. The footage consist of an Aikido demonstration held in Fukuoka. My previous sensei Matsuzaki Shihan of Sasebo Aikikai (now a 7th Dan Shihan) can be found at 1:40-2:30. He stated that he was a Nidan when this was recorded. Saito Sensei fierce weapons demonstration can be found at 2:32 and Gozo Shioda Sensei can be found at 2:53.
