I may have judged too soon, as many of us do when we only see one hour of a 24-hour day in reality TV. However, there were a few red flags that surfaced within the love triangle between Ayo, Mimi, and Uma. It seems many others felt the same, given the heated discussions on TikTok and Twitter. As someone who has tackled colourism in many videos and will continue to debunk it in hopes of eradicating it, I'm using the UK's reality TV show Love Island to analyse this colourist discourse.
