I have been wanting to talk about the systematic controversial issue of colourism in which both sides are affected - light skins, dark skins, brown skins men and women.
Today has been the perfect time for me to voice my opinion and disgust for the generation older than me and the new generation.resurfaced tweets from your favs : Tion wayne, Paigey cakey, zeze millz, chunks, yung filly and more. Please do not spew hate at Nella Rose though, that is not fair.
Colourism is not an issue only correlated to old resurfaced tweets of popular rappers youtubers singers and influencers. It is an issue that happens in dating, in real life, seen in music videos, within households when it comes to lighter skinned siblings and darker skinned siblings.
By all means I want to open up a conversation and interact with those who have been or have not been affected by colourism. If you agree or disagree with my opinions and my perspective please open the conversation. WE CANNOT KEEP BRUSHING THE PROBLEM OF COLOURISM UNDER THE RUG.
in regards to cancel culture I am not sure if some of these uk celebs should be cancelled because how can we be cancelled before we have had a chance to properly launch our channels, avenues and platforms.
quarantine is moving absolutely mad. I think we need to get out soon! Stay at home and protect the NHS!
I think it is time the black community and the community in London and the UK in general it is time we start supporting each other and building our platforms from jump not when we blow or have a little bit of clout.
Continue to share and promote love. Continue to empower one another. Lets stop perpetuating a narrative onto black women that they are angry aggressive hostile ugly hating. It needs to stop.
