my name is Molly I am in charge of the
hello Shakespeare camp this week we have
spent a lot of time learning about
Shakespeare's life what the time was
like the kinds of plays that he wrote
and spending some time learning about
tutoye which is when you use thee and
thy and thou and when you would use you
I definitely learned a lot more about
Shakespeare because I came into the camp
not knowing a lot about Shakespeare
which is very interesting because now I
want to learn more about him and see
more of his plays it's not that serious
of a camp like it doesn't have to be
like if you don't get this right that's
bad you need to get it right like it's
okay if you make mistakes and since it
is only a week long play sometimes you
get to take your script out on stage if
you can't memorize everything the way
Shakespeare wrote so it's the rhythm of
the reverses
um what from what I've learned it's like
a Heartbeats
that's uh they explained it to me to
make it more simple oh my gosh it's been
so much fun we've we've really had to
figure out how to craft this particular
type of comedy and while it wasn't super
comfortable at first these kids are now
getting to the point where they're
cracking each other up with the things
that they'll do I have one boy who's
like going all out and like screaming at
the top of his lungs just to like get a
little bit of a jump scare out of the
audience and it works so well
