VIDEO ON ENZYMES
This is a teaching video on ENZYMES. It highlights the meaning of Enzyme.
10 different characteristics of enzymes were stated here. The two classes / types of enzymes (Intercellular enzymes. Extracellular enzymes, Hydrolases enzymes, oxidoreductase enzymes, Transferases enzymes and Ligase enzymes)and their sub-types are mentioned including one example each. Also the video highlights how or mechanisms an enzyme works;: Lock and key and Induced fit mechanism. Different digestive enzymes such as ptyalin, pepsin, lipase, amylopsin and the subtrates they act upon were highlighted.
The video is recommended for students in colleges, those preparing for WAEC, UTME, NECO, GCE, IGCSE and other external examinations. It can also serve as a teaching aid for teachers.
