We think the stealthy nature of these changes isn't a bad thing. The new Kamiq should be every bit as practical as the previous version, retaining all its “Simple Clever” features (an umbrella in the door, an ice scraper in the fuel filler cap, etc.).

Skoda Kamiq brings a new breath to the small SUV class. It's bigger, sleeker and more comfortable inside than the Seat Arona and VW T-Cross, and has smart features to help take the stress out of modern family life. Overall, we prefer the more agile Ford Puma and the more comfortable VW T-Roc, but that shouldn't stop you from considering the Kamiq.
The Skoda Kamiq engine range starts with the 94 hp 1.0 TSI 95, which comes with a five-speed manual transmission. It can feel a little slow at low revs, but once you get going there's enough power to keep you comfortable at highway speeds.
The 1.5 TSI 150 is the smoothest engine in the range, but it's worth noting that the hybrid LBX is quieter than any Kamiq model in the city due to its ability to run on electric power.
Depending on the equipment package of the vehicle, you can see the fabric upholstery offered inside.
