Xiaomi offers two versions for its electric car: SU7 and SU7 Max. There are some performance differences between SU7 and SU7 Max. SU7 Max, which is faster in accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h, shows that it has the power to compete with giant brands that produce performance vehicles in this regard. Xiaomi, a brand experienced in batteries in line with the smartphones, smart home appliances and wearable technology products it produces, aims to make a difference with its electric car SU7. The battery in the vehicle promises a long range with short charging.
Xiaomi SU7 Max model has a 101 kWh battery. The vehicle can offer a range of 800 kilometers with this battery. In addition, SU7 Max can travel 220 kilometers when charged for only 5 minutes with 800 V power. 15 minutes of charging gives the vehicle a range of 510 kilometers. The other version, SU7, can travel 668 kilometers with a full charge. These features seem to provide significant time savings for drivers.
While introducing its electric vehicle, Xiaomi also introduced its new generation technologies. At this point, the autonomous driving in SU7 also attracted attention. The vehicle has cameras and various sensors along with LiDAR technology. These equipment increase the performance of the vehicle in autonomous driving. In addition, Xiaomi SU7's autonomous driving technology is also supported by artificial intelligence.
The pilot autonomous driving system of the Xiaomi electric car has 3 different technologies: Adaptive BEV, Road Mapping Basic Model and Super Resolution Inhabitance Network. Adaptive BEV technology provides expanded visibility and precision for the parking process at high speeds.
With the Road Mapping Base Model, the vehicle detects road conditions in real time. It can also navigate complex roads smoothly, even without relying on maps. Super Resolution Inhabitance Network technology gives the vehicle serious capability in obstacle recognition. Thanks to this technology, recognition accuracy increases up to 0.1 m.
