In the internal arts, outside forces are neutralized / transformed internally (Hua Jin). This video is an illustration of that fundamental process, made for my friends. Here I'm demonstrating how to Hua using the driving mechanisms of the different Taijiquan frames. Note how the change of the positioning of the torso and limbs (in space) is only a consequence of the internal changes utilized in the neutralization, as opposed to being primarily used to avoid the oncoming force.
The fullness of Chi (Peng), the continuous letting go (process of Song) into the Central Equilibrium (Zhong Ding) thus cultivating the appropriate state of being in accordance with Central Harmonies (Zhong He) create very subtle and precise, whole body coordinated, omni-directionally balanced, complimentary movements and power. The Chi mobilization pathways (Jin Lu) for unusual power, open and functioning simultaneously, in varying proportions, adjusting in real time, to Transform (Hua) is responsible for the creation of the magic of 200grams (4 teals) subverting 1000 catties (600kg) in internal arts, as described in the Taijiquan classics!
