BASICS: Part 1 Layering Colored Pencil & Acrylic Paint Marker

Part 1: Learn how simple it is to create a landscape and learn some basic art concepts as well. It's Layering! Layer colored pencils, pen, and a white marker to a beautiful finish.
You need: white art paper, or a paper bag cut to 5x7" and taped down to a base
*White acrylic paint marker
(my favorite brand is Posca, found online, and in most art or hobby shops, Michael's)
*colored pencils
*a black ink pen
In this tutorial, part 1 of 2, follow along to watch how I layer. There are no mistakes, every mark can be quickly covered. I use very simple art tools to create a landscape.
TIP: lights and darks are the key to a strong piece. Keep using your tools to move in that direction.
