Saying “stop” or “no is a very powerful communication.

It’s why all two year olds love to tell you “no” and it’s why children who struggle to communicate have meltdowns when they’re not understood.

If we can give them a voice and give them away to communicate a protest to us, we give them power.

This can reduce meltdowns and tantrums and empower children to use their words, even if those words sound a little different than other children.
