In our ‘Country’ episode of The Common Thread, Darius is moved by the resilience of those living in the country, who face drought and limited access to services. We hear the inspiring stories of Ben (The Naked Farmer), George, Emma and Winona. “Talking. That’s your biggest weapon against this sort of illness. And unfortunately, depressed people don’t tend to do that.” – George, Orange (NSW)
The Common Thread is a 6 x 5-8min video series in which Australians from all walks of life share their journeys with mental health, and tell us about the tools and tactics that have supported their recovery. Episode 4 is called ‘Outback’ and drops next Tuesday July 30.
