Blake Leeper was born with a congenital birth defect that caused his lower legs to not develop. His family was told there was a possibility he may never walk, let alone run. Yet step by step, Leeper found power in the adversity he faced. Inspired by the Paralympic athletes at the 2008 Beijing Games, Leeper discovered a newfound passion for running, a sport he had never participated in before. By the 2012 London Paralympic Games, he had won two medals. The star athlete talks to Headspace about how shifting his mindset helped him go the distance.
