Mitsubishi ASX rear LED strip
Installed to my Mitsu ASX 2013, the 150cm version. LED strip is under $6 and can easily be installed. There is a shorter (120cm) version for cars. Normally, the strip is installed via double-sided adhesive to the rear bumper but I decided to stick the strip along the hatch door for a cleaner look (although you have to go the longer route for wiring) when you open the hatch door.
You may opt to directly install the red wire (power) to the side lamps so that the strip turns on when you turn on the side lamps. But I used a fuse tap instead so I get the strip activated during daytime without having to turn on the side lamps.
