Electric Desoldering Pump 220v
At 30 watts and 50hz, this one really sucks!
It comes with 3 replacement nozzles (different sizes) and 1 wire to push out tins that would get stuck within the iron body.
The solenoid is really strong and you can feel the entire thing move while pressing the button. You do have to release the button at once to disengage the solenoid and release any electricity holding it.
Like with other videos, it is a good technique to push the button when you see the tin melt then point to a holding cup as you release the button so that the tin gets spat out on to the cup (rather than making a mess on the board). You would feel some air pushed out by the solenoid which includes the melted tin.
As shown on the video, the wiring and circuit looks clean and well made but ensure to secure the wire plug to avoid pulling it off from the board.
This is a really good tool for desoldering circuits from any board versus using a manual suction pen. If there is anything I would mod on this is the wattage to increase the temperature as it takes 5 to 10 minutes just to achieve the required temperature of 270 degrees celcius and putting a swtich to turn the temperature on/off. A possible alteration as well is to replace the solenoid with a small pump so that the vacuum/suction is continuous.
