Finite Element Procedure Of 3D Truss System Using ANSYS
A 3-element 3D truss system is analyzed using the ANSYS tool. The procedure for defining the geometry model in spaceclaim is explained in this video. The results of displacement quantities at each node and the axial force in each 3D truss element is displaced in color plot. The ANSYS results were exactly the same with the results of manual calculation on MATLAB also using the finite element procedure.
