Joshua Tree National Park Nov 2024 Day 5 in LA

We visited the Joshua Tree National Park which is about 130 miles east of Los Angeles - quite a long way. We took a brief break in Yucca Valley and had lunch in a popular restaurant there. Despite the dry arid climate, Joshua Trees in different shapes scattered all over the park which is amazing. The park is so large that it is not possible to see all the scenic spots in a few hours. The panorama at Keys View is stunning, especially the long vast valley below where the tectonic active San Andreas Fault is located. By the time we left the park it was nearly four o'clock. The National Park is definitely worth one's visit both at day and night times. Enjoy.
