I’ve been back in the lab scripting a vision for what a high-stakes, realistic How to Train Your Dragon would actually look like! Since the original trilogy is a masterpiece of storytelling, I wanted to see if I could capture the "First Flight" magic using a grounded, cinematic style—long before the official teasers hit the internet.
In my "Viking Legacy" concept, I’ve re-contextualized breathtaking landscapes and dragon fragments to build a pitch that explores the bond between Hiccup and Toothless in a realistic world. I got deep into the edit to re-cook these fragments—blending custom VFX for the Night Fury and my signature "Den" sound design!
